Emerging Thing of the Week: The Dutch

As Claire Mazur once said (30 seconds ago, out of nowhere), “We have such good taste in snacks.” We also have top-notch taste in full meals, and one of the best we’ve had in a really long time took place at NYC’s The Dutch, Andrew Carmellini’s really impressive follow-up to (also delicious) Locanda Verde. When you go—because you’d be plain dumb not to—order the oyster sliders, which are like miniature po’ boys with the perfect flavor balance in every bite, and the fried chicken, which I can’t even get into without losing the reins of this post. The location is also key: You’ll never have to rack your brain for a place to eat late-night in Soho again. —erica
