Next Level: Floral Swimwear

Flowers like water. So here’s a chance—or four!—to give them what they want. —erica
LEVEL I: There’s something so Malibu Sands Beach Club about this Pret-a-Surf number—and isn’t that always the goal?
LEVEL II: It’s a white bikini—without any of the stress. Thanks, We Are Handsome.
LEVEL III: Oof, is the high waist on this Giejo combo killer.
LEVEL IV: Not the easiest thing to pull off, no. But if you can rock this Zimmermann situation, you’ll be queen of the poolside scene.

This swimsuit, part of the second collection by the ridiculously awesome Australian line We Are Handsome, looks pretty rad here, but it would look even better with a feathered hairdo and a Ray-Banned boyfriend named Clay, don’t you think? —erica

I’ve already posted about my favorite one-pieces of the season, from bold, retro, Australia-based We Are Handsome, and now it’s time for bikinis.
The graphic designs from Lisa Marie Fernandez, who’s styled runway shows the likes of Halston, are not the least bit slinky. They don’t look like you could fit them in your pocket. Rather, they are made of a wetsuit-esque neoprene material that has some real shape and gives them truly sexy silhouettes without the standard skimpiness. The best from the year-old line incorporate very of-the-moment chunky black zippers without looking like they’re trying too hard.

The Delaware by We Are Handsome - Handmade, Limited Edition Swimwear
Okay, so the first thing I want to say here is that Delaware doesn’t get nearly enough love and I am grateful to these guys for doing a little something to reverse that. Secondly, I love these swimsuits. I can’t remember the last time I wore a one piece and I’m not really into those supersexy ones with all the cut-outs (because I don’t know, they look great on models but I’m pretty sure I’d spend the entire time wearing one adjusting it to make sure everything was covering what it should), BUT I would wear these. Thirdly, Erica interviewed them for FOAM magazine and said they were lovely.
