Of a Kind

You can call this Anntian guy a clog, or you can call it the ombre SURPRISE. Completely your call. —erica

Of a Kind

When are we going to be completely over clogs, do you think? Because these open-toe, saddle-shoe-inspired suckas from Bryr are making me think NEVER. —erica

Interior Inspiration: TBSP, NYC

The Of a Kind office is located in the heart of the Ladies’ Mile District (wait, you don’t call it that?), which means for lunch, plenty of options abound. Our favorite? TBSP, whose founder Melissa Chmelar insists on using organic products from upstate New York. With its long wooden tables, wallpaper (!), and cozy atmosphere, TBSP makes for the perfect spot for iced latte breaks or snack-fueled meetings. It makes me think of family dinners in the living room—and hence, this comfort-driven mash up. jiayi

1) A knit dress by the Berlin-based line Boessert/Schorn that’s interesting enough to wear outside, but roomy enough to lounge around in.

2) A leather and canvas bag, available at Hickoree’s, that is appropriate for work but can just as easily reinvent itself into a stylish beach or travel bag.

3) Chalkboard paint for an otherwise unused wall. Bonus points for funky colors like Tilano’s Divaberry.

 4) Clogs by the Sweden native Nina Ziefvert, who started selling the shoes at Brooklyn Flea before they made It footwear status.

5) This mirror, designed by Grace Feyock, that’s sure to liven up any space, wallpapered or not.

6) Our Sophie Monet Pyrite Pyramid necklace! Confession: I looked around for casual-yet-collected necklaces for hours with no luck, until I realized the ideal one was actually right in front of me. So, um, don’t follow in my footsteps.
