Seems like all the smart boys got their girls Vivier for the holidays. —claire
It was a very Vivier Christmas…
!!!
complete with a pompom and a whole lot of wife cheering
!!!
(you know what I love almost as much as the bag itself? The fact that my husband even knows who Clare Vivier is…and surprised me with this bag all on his own)

The colors in Clare Vivier’s collection of bags are so killer. Given that I buy a new handbag about once every 4 years, the minimalist (and thus timeless) shapes are also a big draw for me. —claire
Available on designer’s website at seevivier.com. Foldover clutch: $149, La tropezienne: $320
Clare Vivier Gorgeousness.
Yes! Yes! To both bags, please.

so, um, does anyone have $435 just lying around to gift to their favorite tumblr fashion blogger? you know, just a mere $435? it, meaning the mandy coon “ginny” bunny bag, would go to a good cause. and it’s not like it was going to go to anything important like rent or groceries, right? come on. be a pal.
Our very fave fall bag. That’s a fact.

1) We like pockets. 2) We like out-there accessories that make neutral outfits less boring. 3) We love this Meredith Wendell bag (refuse to use the word wristlet, fyi) that has two pouches and is 100% crazy.

Word is this Lena Erziak bag can hold a laptop. Also, the combination of silver and gold studs (yah, can’t really tell from the picture) means you don’t have to worry about jewelry or shoe hardware clashing—making it even more versatile.

I think I will officially be an adult (pronounced add-dult) when I have a bag like this one from Montreal-based Want Les Essentiels de la Vie. Its name is De Gaulle.

i have fallen deeply and madly in love with accessories designer wendy nichol due to a recent article on full frontal fashion written by one of my favorite fashion bloggers (can you be my friend, ms. spiridakis? please? elizabeth? can i call you liz?). and though her leather bags leave me dead on the floor, her simple earrings are ridiculous. it doesn’t take much to get me excited, i don’t need a lot of frou-frou fancy nonsense hanging from my ears. bonus: prices are doable.

marlow & sons, known for their homemade burgers and sausages, has decided to branch out from edibles to carryables — the restaurant will launch a line of leather bags and pouches priced from $40 to $350 to be available at its williamsburg location. to put it rather tastelessly, which is my favorite way to put things: you can now eat and wear your food (so economical!).
Bags designed by a restaurant shouldn’t be so pretty.
