Weather Vain: Bogotá, Colombia - 77 and Clear
People are making us all kinds of jealous with their warm-weather travels right now. And while we’re personally very upset with anyone lucky enough to head to the Colombian capital, we’re willing to offer you our professional support—and a packing list. —erica

Clockwise from top left:
+ A Lemlem dress that doubles as a cover-up when you head to the beaches at Tayrona National Park.
+ This bracelet by K/LLER: jazzy enough for dinner at Mi Viejo, overlooking La Candelaria’s so-stunning square.
+ To keep your CCs and pesos in order, a mini Clare Vivier wallet.
+ The sort of Erica Weiner necklace that could go with basically every outfit in your suitcase.
+ Loeffler Randall shoes that are most definitely made for walking (and exploring Macarena—the ‘hood, not the dance).
+ Super sunglasses to deal with such annoyingly bright and clear weather.
+ The perfect pared-down travel bag from Eayrslee. Bonus: It can be worn around your waist (as long as you don’t call it a fanny pack).
Head this way for more “Weather Vain!” Hot (and cold) stuff.

Should not like the idea of a matching scarf and sweater half as much as I do. Gah, Lemlem! —erica

Pretty jazzed to see Lemlem doing a deeper dive into clothing. This skirt—structured and drapey? Give it. —erica

Weather Vain: Palm Springs, California - 88 and Clear
Palm Springs is the best spring getaway—you heard it here first. Or maybe you didn’t. But point is: Here’s what I wish I was wearing now in the city I’ll be invading in T-Minus 12 hours. —erica

Clockwise from top left:
+ The print on tote that Lina Rennell made Of a Kind would make all the Knoll-trolling gays jelly.
+ Mymu has the chic espadrille thing down pat.
+ It’s legit hot—if this featherweight Lemlem situation isn’t cool enough, grab a date shake from Palm Springs Fudge & Chocolates.
+ These Karen Walker shades are about as retro-cool as the just-opened Saguara Hotel.
+ This Bande Des Quatres ring is as boxy—and stunning—as the Kaufmann House.

Weather Vain: Atlanta, Georgia - 65 and Clear (on Thanksgiving!)
In honor of my own Thanksgiving travels, I’d like to present a shout-out to the home of CNN, Coca-Cola, everyone’s favorite Real Housewives cast, and my favorite Top Chef contestant, Kevin Gillespie. Here’s my ideal look for celebrating/face-stuffing on a just-barely-crisp day in ATL. —erica

Clockwise from top left:
+ Steven Alan’s take on a chambray shirt—a bit more special-occasion than your standard button down.
+ A House of Harlow cuff that interferes with nothing.
+ Isabel Marant gray wool pants with an elastic waist that allows for a second piece of pie.
+ A light and airy Lemlem scarf in fall-approp colors.
+ 80%20 desert boots that can handle some serious shuffling around in the kitchen.

Liya Kebede’s Lemlem seems like the ideal summer line, but turns out the model-cum-designer can kill it for fall, too. —erica

Interior Inspiration: Swan Restaurant, Toronto

When I road-tripped to Canada with three friends in May, we decided to wing it (read: we were lazy and didn’t plan much). Obviously, not the smartest idea because we ended up roaming Toronto for an hour, looking for food we could all agree on. When we stumbled upon Swan Restaurant, a relaxed little diner on Queen Street West, the place made a big impression with its plentiful servings, flavor-packed food, and unfussy atmosphere. Everyone was either engrossed in his own conversation or meal (um, smoked oyster and pancetta scramble, anyone?)—which made it the perfect spot to reboot and count the number of times “eh” finished a sentence. —jiayi
1) A Clu dress that no one will ever peg for the sort of thing you just threw on: The cardigan is attached.
2) Clare Vivier’s signature fold-over clutch to hold the essentials and roadside souvenirs.
3) A Matt Bernson oxford with a heel just manageable enough for a lazy Sunday.
4) A Liya Kebede-designed Lemlem scarf to pull everything together (and, er, hide any spills).
5) A stool designed by Boris Berlin and Poul Christiansen’s Komplot Design—because even though booths earn points for comfort, it’s much more fun to hang at the bar.

If you’re going somewhere warm for the holidays—like my friend who had the guile to type the words St. Thomas in an email—you should pick up some sun-and-sand attire from Lemlem, Liya Kebede’s line that uses fabrics woven by hand in Ethiopia. This gauzy top is like your favorite striped tee—but with ample room for vacation eating and drinking. —erica
