Next Level: Pink & Red

Pink and red are not supposed to hang together—they kind of have a Capulet-Montague situation going. But, done right, man, can sparks fly. Four classy-cool ways to go. —erica

LEVEL I: How adorbs would these Loeffler Randall sandals be with rolled-up chinos?

LEVEL II: God, those blush-y hues. Reed Krakoff, you know what you’re doing.

LEVEL III: The cut-outs on this Mara Hoffman dress just contribute to the color-blocking masterfulness.

LEVEL IV: Subtle? Heck no. But this Venessa Arizaga necklace sure is fly.

God, what a ridiculously gorgeous day in Music City. Here’s what to wear if you’re lucky enough to be bopping (boot-scooting?) around town. —erica

Clockwise from top left:

+ Madison Harding wedges that would go equally well with jeans from the local hotspot Imogene + Willie.

+ A Rebecca Taylor dress that could hang onstage at the Ryman.

+ Sunglasses from Kate Spade Saturday—beautiful-weather, hang-outside essentials.

+ A IIIBeCa bag the color or a buttery biscuit (with or without the gravy)

+ A Delfina Delettrez ring as hot as a reservation at The Catbird Seat.

+ Earrings—from Vanessa Mooney—ready for a late night at Tootsies.

Party in the city where the heat is on…or where it’s pouring down rain. EITHER WAY. Here’s what to wear in Mee-ah-mee on a day like today. (Keely! We miss you! Come back!) —erica

Clockwise from top left:

+ A Loeffler Randall clutch, as fun as drinks at The Freehand.

+ The sort of so-easy Raquel Allegra dress that’s happy to live in a suitcase.

+ A Rag & Bone hat, protecting your hair from any T-storming—or, if the clouds part, the sun along the Wynwood Art Walk.

+ Rain sandals! Brought to you by Melissa.

+ Take this clunky-cool Jennifer Fisher bracelet to Joe’s Stone Crab or Yardbird, and don’t worry about getting messy.

More of this goodness! Right here!

Weather Vain - Key West, Florida - 72 and Partly Cloudy

image

One of the warmest destinations in the U.S. of A. today: Key West. What to wear if you don’t HAVE to wear a jacket. —erica

Clockwise from top left:

+ The sort of five-o’clock-somewhere pants from See by Chloe that leave plenty of room for Kermit’s key lime pie.

+ So, it’s not supposed to be a super-bright day, but this is definitely the sort of place where sunglasses—these by Karen Walker—are part of the uniform.

+ Stripes! On your soles! Alice + Olivia sandals that can navigate the rocky beaches.

+ A silk Tibi tank that goes with the motif of the Southernmost House.

+ Mociun earrings as quirky as your surroundings.

+ The low tonight: 64. So you can get away with just a Rag & Bone scarf-slash-shawl if you want to.

+ A wicker clutch from Rebecca Minkoff that’s a fun as it is easy—goes well with the catch of the day at the Flaming Buoy Filet Co.

More “Weather Vain” madness right this way…

Weather Vain: Santa Monica, California - 72 and Partly Cloudy

We’re in L.A. this week! And, to celebrate, I figured I oughta put together an ensemble that would be perfect should we make our way a smidge west today. Ah, ocean breezes. —erica

Clockwise from top left:

+ Sure, they’re glittery, but the shape of these Loeffler Randall sandals have a total walking-the-pier vibe.

+ This Pamela Love ring adds a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit—goes well with the lush greenery (and the lobby of the Viceroy), no?

+ A silk Vanessa Bruno jumpsuit with a forgiving waist gives you the option to order the cheese plate and sweet potato fries at Father’s Office.

+ This chunky necklace is by Gabriela Artigas—who lives a quick drive away (well, depending on the traffic) in West Hollywood.

+ With its open weave, this bronze-y Kelly Bergin sweater is just warm enough for a pre-sunset beach stroll.

More “Weather Vain!” Right here! YES!
