Vote Up Our SXSW Panel (and These Ones, Too!)

SXSW Interactive is soooooo far away—March! 2013! A year we can’t even wrap our little heads around yet! But it’s already time to decide what we’ll want to talk about, listen to, and contemplate then. And to that end: Why not vote for the panel we proposed? Claire would moderate a convo with some damn talented ladiez—Jen Bekman of 20x200, Danielle Strle of Tumblr, and Jamie Beck of From Me to You—about what the internet has done, hasn’t done, and can do for creative professionals. We’re calling it “The Rise of the Planet of the Creatives”—get it, get it?—and we’d looove for you to give it a vote. We’re not even asking for money. That’s how gracious we are.

Also, while you’re all logged-in, give this awesomeness some love, too:

Fashion and Food: Transforming Visual Narration - Starring two of our fave gals, Elizabeth Spiridakis of White Lightning and Bon Appetit and Susan Cernek of Glamour.

Is Modern Media Destroying Your Attention Span? - Pretty sure we know the answer but still wanna *think* about it and hear what light Pinterest and StumbleUpon people have to shed.

Physical Products & the New Distribution Model - Also with Claire (I know, you’re bored of her by now) and Colin Nagy of The Barbarian Group, Abe Burmeister of Outlier, and Jacob Moesgaard AIAIAI—basically, three too-cool dudes.

Siri is My Stylist: Mobile Tech Meets Fashion - The name alone, kids.

Emerging Thing of the Week: SXSW

Our Austin digs will be nothing like this.

That headline’s a joke. I hope you got that. But I just wanted to take a moment to say that, if you’re headed to Austin today like we are, you damn well better be making your way to our panel at 5p. We’re talking about content and commerce with, borrowing from Aibileen Clark, three kind, smart, and important ladies: Alisa Gould-Simon of Pose, Allison Kellman of Ideeli, and Lauren Sherman of Luckymag.com. Good company—WE KNOW. Come! —erica

Deets: “The Fashion Fog: Redefining Content & Commerce,” 5-6p at the Sheraton Austin, Capitol EFGH, 701 E. 11th St.
