You ready for this? Lyndsey Butler of Veda is back with not one but three killer versions of her so-cool, drapey, vintage-driven jackets. See, the bodies are made of found Levi’s and M65 army jackets, and the sleeves are in leather. It’s impossible not to look rad in one of these puppies. —erica

Wave Hello: Lyndsey Butler of Veda On Her New Bikini Obsession
Lyndsey Butler is a bit of a beach bum—that is, when she can escape her lofty, south-of-Canal studio where she designs leather goodness for her line Veda. Here, she shares her newest salt-n-sand obsesesion, the up-and-coming swimwear line of which she’s an early adopter.

“Ok, my bikini would probably be my number one beach essential, and this year that honor goes to…Giejo’s exclusive collection for Barneys. I love the bra top with the high-waisted boy brief in the neon green floral. Obviously the bikini is the most crucial, but I also have to have some good reading material. The Paris Review is always a great option because it has variety.” —lyndsey

Alumni Sunday: Denim and Leather Max Jacket by Veda

Tomorrow in NYC, it’s going to be 55 degrees…for about the ninth time this February. And while we’re still prepared for some crazy-frosty weather to swoop in before we officially call winter a bust, it’s time to start rolling out your spring look. A should-be cornerstone: This open-front denim and leather jacked from one of our faves, Veda. The body is made of vintage Levis, giving the thing a low-key vibe equally fit for San Fran (57 tomorrow), Charlotte (59), or St. Louis (54). —erica
